American Indian Women of Missouri: The Stories of "Francois of the Missouria" and "Sacred Sun"

Separated by over 100 years, two women from the early history of what is now central Missouri -- one from the Missouria tribe and the second from the Osage tribe-- were each brought on an adventure half way across the world.  While the circumstances for these journeys were different, and both had different outcomes, both women showed courage in an unknown land and culture.
