Are you an avid photographer looking for a new and unique photographic canvas? Then look no further than Onondaga Cave State Park. Join a member from the Onondaga Friends Association with a passion for photography as she leads you through two great caves for hours of photographic possibilities. This tour caters to the photographer and videographer; you may bring your equipment and tripods on this photographic adventure. Each tour lasts approximately three hours with a one-hour lunch break in between. You can opt for one cave or the other or you can plan on doing both.
The fee structure for the tours is $10 for the Cathedral Cave photo tour from 9 a.m. to noon; $15 for the Onondaga Cave photo tour from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.; or $20 to go on both tours. You can make reservations and pay in advance by visiting the Onondaga Friends Association website at www.onondagafriends.org.
Come spend a day taking shots of this unique environment. Then, come back again to hone your skills; the tours are monthly throughout the summer.
