A Hike Through Time

2/17/2018 | Graham Cave State Park | Danville, MO

Break out of your cabin fever by visiting one of Missouri State Park's most significant archaeological sites. Take a .7-mile, moderate difficult, interpretative hike with naturalist Lorie Volenberg as she guides participants along two of the park’s most popular trails: Fern Ridge and Graham Cave. Hikers will learn about the cultural history and lifestyles of the Indigenous peoples who once occupied Graham Cave and the surrounding forests and river valleys. Participants should meet at the lower picnic area shelter house. Wear comfortable hiking shoes and dress in layers. Refreshments will be provided after the hike.
