Hike to Hidden Treasures of Rock Bridge - Saunders History and Coyote Bluff

Hike in the Gans Creek Wild Area to Coyote Bluff glade/overlook, to the chimney of the Saunders’ log cabin and to Gans Creek. Learn about what life was like for the Saunders family as told by Ray Saunders, who grew up here in the 1920-30s. During the short service project, learn how to identify and treat bush honeysuckles and other invasive plants in winter. Help celebrate the park’s 50th anniversary.

 This event is free. Reservations are required, because space is limited. When you call 573-449-7400, you will be given driving directions. This event is recommended for ages 8 years and up.  Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Prefer no dogs.
