"The Legend of Sleepy Hollow" Storytelling

The historic site provides an eerie backdrop for a retelling of one of America's most beloved ghost stories—“The Legend of Sleepy Hollow.” Halloween history guides will act as your master storytellers, utilizing audience participation (and a few surprises) to recount the tale of Ichabod Crane, Katrina van Tassel, and the Headless Horseman.

Dates and Times:
  • Oct. 21 – Noon, 1 p.m., 2:30 p.m., 3:30 p.m.
  • Oct. 22- 1 p.m., 2:30 p.m., 3:30 p.m.
  • Oct. 27- 6 p.m., 7 p.m.
  • Oct. 28- 1 p.m., 2 p.m., 3 p.m., 4:30 p.m., 6 p.m., 7 p.m.
  • Oct. 29- 1 p.m., 2:30 p.m., 3:30 p.m.

This event is held in conjunction with the City of St. Charles as part of their Legends and Lanterns Festival. There will be other activities around the historic district of St. Charles and along Main Street.
