Arrow Rock State Historic Site administrator Mike Dickey will introduce you to this influential and politically important family that helped shape our region and state. However, their social status did not spare the family the divisiveness and hardships of the Civil War. The lecture will disclose some significant and previously unrecognized roles played by Marmaduke family members in the war. The one-hour lecture is free and open to the public inside the Arrow Rock State Historic Site visitor center.
