Snake Awareness and Safety will be presented by the Missouri Master Naturalists’ Springfield Plateau Chapter and Teen Jr. Leaders. From 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., there will be a display of live Missouri native snakes in the grassy area next to the park store (weather permitting). From 2-3 p.m., the same display will be inside the park’s nature center.
