Saturday, July 22
- 1 p.m. - Petroglyph and Glade Tour - Petroglyph Site
This guided interpretive walk highlights two of Washington State Park's unique features. The walk begins with a tour of the ancient Native American rock carvings and will then venture out onto the glade, where visitors will learn about life on this landscape. - 3 p.m. - River Bottom Walk - Thunderbird Lodge
Join Washington State Park interpretive staff for a guided walk along the bottom of the 1,000 Step Trail and the Big River flood plain. The hike is approximately 1 mile over paved and natural surface trail. - 5 p.m. - Nature Hour - Campground Amphitheater
Join Washington State Park interpretive staff to learn all about life cycles and complete a life cycle activity. - 7 p.m. - All About Butterflies - Campground Amphitheater
Washington State Park interpretive staff will welcome storyteller Flavia Evermann as she presents butterfly tales. Then, staff will present a Save the Monarchs! program.
Sunday, July 23
- 9 a.m. - Nature Hour - Campground Amphitheater
Can you catch a critter? Do you know how to catch and release bugs? Join Washington State Park interpretive staff for a bug catching activity.
