6/3/2017 | Nathan and Olive Boone Homestead State Historic Site | Ash Grove, MO

As part of National Trails Day, this historic site will be hosting a 2.4-mile hike across what was once the Missouri frontier. Along the hike, participants will hear stories about Nathan Boone, glimpse into what life was like on the Boone homestead, and learn about the unique natural resources of the area. The hike will start at the picnic shelter and will follow Prairie View Trail, which is considered moderately strenuous.
