Bring the family to the historic site for an autumn evening of fun and education. This free event features 10 to 12 educational activity and game stations set up within the three exhibit galleries of the Powerhouse Museum. All activities relate to geology, mineral resources, mining and personal recreational safety. They are designed to appeal to elementary-aged children. Doe Run staff and volunteers man the activity stations; state park interpretive staff are available to answer questions about mining and minerals in the Old Lead Belt. Refreshments will be served.
The Fall Rocks event is co-sponsored by The Doe Run Co.
