All programs this weekend will be related in some way to birds. There will be a special guest from the Missouri River Bird Observatory doing presentations along with park naturalists leading hikes, wildly crafty activities, Fill the Bill game, a scavenger hunt and nest-building contests. Participants will also learn about bird songs and simple bird identification tips.
Exact times and locations of programs will be posted on bulletin boards at the park and on the park’s Facebook page as the event gets closer.
In the event of bad weather, some programs will be canceled or moved indoors.
