Informational Meeting

9/23/2017 | Sandy Creek Covered Bridge State Historic Site | Hillsboro, MO

Staff from the historic site will be on hand to provide information about Mastodon, Sandy Creek Covered Bridge and Gov. Daniel Dunklin's Grave state historic sites and answer questions.  The public is invited to share comments about these historic sites and their operations. This meeting is being held in conjunction with Mastodon State Historic Site's Archaeology Day celebration. Click here to read the news release.

Location: Mastodon State Historic Site's museum auditorium

Input from the public is important to the department.  These informational meetings, which are being held in all state parks and historic sites, help create a two-way communication.  The meetings give staff the opportunity to let people know the current status and future plans for the park or site, and they offer visitors the opportunity to comment on the facilities.
