Friday

7 p.m. Centennial Social - Campground Entrance
Come by the campground entrance as we celebrate 100 years of Missouri State Parks!  Meet and greet park staff, learn about the exciting programs and special events at Washington State Park, and celebrate with cake!  Approximately one hour.

Saturday

1 p.m. Petroglyph and Glade Tour – Petroglyph Site
This guided interpretive walk highlights two of Washington State Park’s unique features. The walk begins with a tour of the ancient Native American rock carvings and will then venture out to the glade, where visitors will learn about life on this unique landscape.  Approximately one hour.

3 p.m. Park History Stroll – Thunderbird Lodge
Take a stroll through history! This guided leisurely stroll will take place at the Thunderbird Lodge and surrounding area as visitors learn about the history of the park and historic stonework of CCC Company 1743.  Approximately one hour.

5 p.m. Naturalist Hour – Campground Amphitheater
Meet at the campground amphitheater for Naturalist Hour!  Learn about nature and the Missouri State Parks Explorer Patch Program and the Washington State Park Discovery Patch Program.  Approximately one hour.

7 p.m.  Sunday Evening Program – Campground Amphitheater
Join the Washington State Park interpretive staff as they present an entertaining and educational program for visitors. The topic is to be determined.  Approximately one hour.

Sunday

3 p.m.  Wildflower and River Bottom Walk – Thunderbird Lodge
A short hike along 1,000 Step Trail will give visitors a chance to view a wide variety of plant life and some early spring wildflowers.  The walk will then lead guests along the edge of the Big River to learn just how important this body of water is to the surrounding area.  Approximately one hour.

5 p.m. Naturalist Hour – Campground Amphitheater
Meet at the campground amphitheater for Naturalist Hour!  Learn about nature and the Missouri State Parks Explorer Patch Program and the Washington State Park Discovery Patch Program.  Approximately one hour.

7 p.m.  Storyteller Jim Two Crows Wallen – Campground Amphitheater
Join us as special guest storyteller Jim Two Crows Wallen weaves stories of Native Americans and the history of Missouri for all ages around the campfire.  Approximately one hour.

Monday

9 a.m. Naturalist Hour – Campground Amphitheater
