Join us for a driving tour of the Katy Trail and nearby historic sites, from the comfort of an air-conditioned shuttle. Stops include Deutschheim State Historic Site, where we’ll take a 45-minute tour of the Strehly House and House Winery and make visits to McKittrick and Rhineland from the Katy Trail to learn about the area’s fascinating history.
Lunch is provided free of charge as part of the tour. Tour attendees will experience some steps and light walking during the tour. The tour is free and departs from the Messmer and Eitmann Senior Center, 196 State Route 19 South. Space is limited, so reserve your spot by calling the Senior Center at 573-486-3230.
There are two tours:
- 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
- Noon to 3 p.m.
