Friday

7 p.m. - Popsicle Social and Scavenger Hunt - Campground Showerhouse area
Washington State Park interpretive staff welcomes you to a popsicle social!  While enjoying this cool treat, park staff will hand out information and officially start the park scavenger hunt for all ages. The hunt will continue until 7 p.m. on Saturday, July 9, at the evening interpretive program.

Saturday

1 p.m. Park History Stroll - Thunderbird Lodge
Take a stroll through history!  This guided leisurely stroll will take place at the Thunderbird Lodge and surrounding area as visitors learn about the history of the park and the historic stonework of CCC Company 1743.

4 p.m. Nature Hour - Campground amphitheater
Washington State Park interpretive staff will host nature hour. During this nature hour, visitors will learn about birds and have a bird coloring book activity. 

4 p.m. Petroglyph Tour - Petroglyph Area
This guided interpretive walk highlights one of Washington State Park's unique features. The walk begins with a tour of the ancient Native American rock carvings and explores the history and meaning of these signs left behind. 

7 p.m. Birds and Scavenger Hunt Awards – Campground amphitheater
Washington State Park interpretive staff will present an interesting and educational program on birds of Missouri. Following the program, prizes for the scavenger hunt will be awarded to the winners. 

Sunday

9 a.m. Nature Hour – Campground amphitheater
Join Washington State Park interpretive staff for nature hour! During this session, visitors will have the opportunity to learn more about birds and build their very own bird feeder.
