Folk Arts at the Capitol

The Missouri State Museum and the Missouri Folk Arts Program will cohost folk art demonstrations at this event. Master saddle maker Michael Massey, and his apprentice Howard Williams, will demonstrate the art of leatherworking. Stop in, and ask about their apprenticeship and the art of embellishing leather on saddles and tack. The program will be held in the museum’s History Hall, located in the east wing of the Missouri state Capitol.
