7/11/2015 | Prairie State Park | Mindenmines, MO
Summer is in full swing now. Wildflowers and bison abound. This should be a great time to get some photos of both. Come to the park to take a guided hike on the prairie and see bison. Meet at the Regal Tallgrass Prairie Nature Center. Don't forget your cameras! Be prepared for a 2-mile hike over uneven terrain. Bringing water, snacks, insect repellent, a hat and sunscreen, and wearing sturdy shoes is recommended. Binoculars will be useful in looking at bison as well as other wildlife that we may see.
