Stockton State Park Grand Opening Trail Celebration

Help celebrate the opening of two new trails with the grand opening of Stockton State Park Water Trail and the newly-created Lakeview Trail, which is a hiking and mountain biking trail. Click here to read the news release.

You will have an opportunity to paddle the water trail and hike, bicycle or run on Lakeview Trail. Experienced guides, familiar with the trail, will be available to lead the way. You can also choose to participate on your own at your own pace.

Schedule of events:

  • 10 a.m. - Water Trail- Canoe or kayak the 6.65 mile Stockton State Park Water Trail. Meet at the marina trailhead.
  • 2:30 p.m. - Lakeview Trail Hike - Run or mountain bike the 8-mile Lakeview Trail. Meet at the main trailhead, which is located on the campground/marina road.

This program is free of charge and open to anyone. You will need to furnish your own equipment and be self-sufficient. For more information, contact the park office.
