Museum After Hours: World War I County Service Banners

After the World War I (WWI), Missouri counties honored the men and women who served with commemorative banners. Counties and the state raised money for this project, and the Missouri State Museum has 100 in its collection. Learn about the WWI service banners and how you can help conserve your history! The program will be held in the museum classroom, which is located in the History Hall in the east wing of the State Capitol. This program continues the programming series, "Museum after Hours," which occurs on the first Wednesday of each month. Missouri State Museum galleries stay open until 9 p.m.
