Take a step back in time to the glory days of Castlewood State Park in the "Jazz Age." Hear the true stories of life in this resort community in the time of prohibition – from soda parlors and dance socials to flappers, moonshine and real-life gangsters! The program will begin with a short .5-mile hike to the top of the bluffs overlooking the scenic Meramec River. Vintage pictures of Castlewood, authentic music of the era, and fun activities for kids and adults alike will also be included.
