Castlewood State Park Has Secrets to Tell

6/22/2013 | Castlewood State Park | Ballwin, MO

Visitors have asked numerous questions about the various structures they encounter while enjoying this park. Along with this, there have been many special requests for interpretive programs surrounding the park’s natural and cultural history. Get excited, because you can now take a guided interpretive hike that will take you back in time!

Please meet at the park office and you will be taken with a guide starting out by Kiefer Creek, on to the Lone Wolf Trailhead and ending at the old water tower structure along Lone Wolf Trail. The program will include things such as pictures of the park from the 1920s, diagrams from very early natural history, a game and goody bags!
