Celebrate “The Year of the Bat.” Events for the day include activities, raffles and giveaways as you learn about the importance of bat conservation and preservation. Presentations and trivia games about bats will take place throughout the day. Prizes will be handed out via random drawings and refreshments will be served. Park staff will be available to answer questions that visitors might have about white nose syndrome, a fungus that is jeopardizing the very existence of this extremely important mammal.
The open house will provide an opportunity for staff to update the public on events and projects at the park. Visitors are invited to share comments on the park’s operations and facilities
