Missouri State Parks will hold a public meeting Saturday, April 7 to discuss long range conceptual development plans related to Arrow Rock State Historic Site and Sappington Cemetery State Historic Site in Saline County and Boone’s Lick State Historic Site in Howard County. The meeting will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the Arrow Rock Visitor Center.
The presentation will focus on public comments received at a previous meeting and input received through a spring 2011 online forum. Representatives from Missouri State Parks will provide information about the development plans and answer questions. The public is invited to share comments about the parks and the future plans. Comments will be accepted on line from April 7 through 21, 2012 at http://mostateparks.com/page/55017/historic-site-plans. Click here to read the news release.
