Join costumed interpreters as they demonstrate rural life of the 1870s. Special activities will include corn shelling, cider pressing, blacksmithing, gardening, woodstove cooking, seed saving, sheep shearing, toy making, wool spinning, Victorian children's games and rag doll making. Tours of the woolen mill will be available for a fee. The Mount Vernon Church and Franklin School will be open. There will be no admission charge for the event itself.
