Public Meeting - Mid-Eastern Section

10/19/2025 | Katy Trail State Park

The public is invited to an open house-style meeting for Graham Cave State Park and the mid-eastern section of Katy Trail State Park. Representatives from Missouri State Parks will be on hand to provide information about these facilities and answer questions. The public is encouraged to share comments about the facilities and their operations.

The mid-eastern section of Katy Trail State Park stretches from Matson in the east to Mokane in the west. Trailheads in this section are located at Augusta, Dutzow, Marthasville, Treloar, McKittrick and Portland. The meeting will take place at the Treloar Mercantile, located along the trail in the town of Treloar.

Meeting time: noon - 1 p.m.
Meeting location: Treloar Mercantile, Treloar, Mo.

Input from the public is important to Missouri State Parks. These public meetings, which are being held for all state parks and historic sites, help create two-way communication with the public. The meetings give representatives the opportunity to let people know the current statuses and future plans for the parks and sites, and they offer visitors the opportunity to comment on the facilities.
