Ozark Christmas Traditions

12/7/2024 | Nathan and Olive Boone Homestead State Historic Site | Ash Grove, MO

Travel back in time as you walk to the Boone home and see how the Boone family and residents of Greene County have celebrated Christmas since the 1830s. Drop in for a visit with St. Nicholas, make a 19th century door decoration, learn Christmas customs of the Missouri Ozarks, and much more! As the day fades slowly into night, watch the site come aglow with lanterns.

All activities will take place in and around the Boone home. Please dress for the weather.

This annual event is free and open to the public, and there is no need to register. For more information, call the site at 417-751-3266.
