Join Crowder State Park staff for a guided hike or two – or seven – this fall! We will be offering a hike on each of our trails to showcase the beauty and diversity of the park!
These hikes are free and open to the public, and there is no need to register. Participants should wear comfortable closed-toe walking shoes and bring water and a snack.
Hikes Schedule:
- Sunday, Sept. 22, at 1 p.m. – Meet Anna at the campground amphitheater for a 4.2-mile hike on Tall Oaks Trail.
- Sunday, Sept. 29, at 1 p.m. – Meet Jessica at the tennis court parking lot for a 2-mile hike on Redbud Trail.
- Sunday, Oct. 6, at 1 p.m. – Meet Anna at the equestrian parking lot for a 3.8-mile hike on the North Loop of Thompson River Trail.
- Sunday, Oct. 13, at 1 p.m. – Meet Jessica at the lake parking lot for a 2-mile hike on River Forks Trail.
- Sunday, Oct. 20, at 1 p.m. – Meet Anna at the equestrian parking lot for a 6.4-mile hike on the South Loop of Thompson River Trail.
- Sunday, Oct. 27, at 1 p.m. – Meet Jessica at Shelter 3 for a 3.2-mile hike on Tall Oaks Trail.
- Saturday, Nov. 2, at 10 a.m. – Meet Anna at the campground amphitheater for a 5-mile hike on connectors 2 and 3.
