Stockton State Park invites anyone interested in looking at the stars to attend a stargazing party at the North Shelter. We have a few star and planet locators available to help identify the stars and constellations.
We ask that filtered flashlights, red if possible, be used to minimize light pollution. The park will have a few of these flashlights available upon request on a first-come, first-served basis. Please also bring chairs and/or blankets to make yourself comfortable while gazing at the stars.
This event is free and open to the public, so come join us for an evening of star-gazing fun!
