Join Crowder State Park staff at 8 a.m. at the Camp Grand River Recreation Hall for a work day to get the park ready for the on-season. Depending on weather, we will either work inside the group camp buildings, where will clean up the dishes, floors, tables and chairs, or we will work outside, where will remove downed trees and exotic plants, perform trail maintenance work, paint the check station building and other structures, and work on additional projects throughout the park.
Park staff will provide a light lunch and water for all volunteers; however, volunteers are still encouraged to bring water and snacks of their own. They should also bring work gloves and wear weather-appropriate clothing and shoes. Registration is not required.
