Come out to Lake Wappapello State Park to view the 2024 solar eclipse. The eclipse will last from 12:40-3:16 p.m. and will include a period of more than four minutes of totality, starting at 1:56 p.m.
During this event, park staff will be providing interpretive activities, and representatives from St. Louis University will be on-site to give informal talks with the public. Food, drinks, eclipse glasses and other retail items will be available for purchase.
The viewing and interpretive activities are free and open to the public, and there is no need to register. Activities will take place in the park’s day-use area; park staff will assist with parking.
