2/16/2024 | Echo Bluff State Park | Eminence, MO
Winter is the best time of the year to do a little birding. Each year, parks and individuals participate in the Great American Backyard Bird Count. Meet park staff to participate in this annual international event of collecting and submitting data to help our feathered friends. Accompany staff at Current River State Park, Echo Bluff State Park, or both parks, to discover the diversity of birds. If you participate at both parks, note whether the birds are the same at each park or if they vary from park to park.
There will be a short walk at each park. Field guides and a limited supply of binoculars will be available, but you are also welcome to bring your own.
Program times and locations:
- Echo Bluff – Terrapin Station Shelter, 8-8:30 a.m.
- Current River – boat house, 9-9:30 a.m.
