Great Backyard Bird Count: Guided Bird Walk

2/18/2024 | Weston Bend State Park | Weston, MO

It’s the Great Backyard Bird Count! Become a citizen scientist by collecting data with park staff during this guided bird walk on Weston Bluffs Trail. Along the way, we will be counting and recording all the birds we see.

Weston Bluffs Trail has a flat gravel surface and is considered easy. Participants should wear comfortable walking shoes and dress for the weather, and they are encouraged to bring binoculars.

We will meet at Beverly parking lot. To get to the Beverly parking lot from the park’s main entrance, go west for 1 mile and then take the second right.

This program is free and open to the public. In the event of rain, snow or ice, it will be canceled.

For more information, call the park office at 816-640-5443.

Event Time: 10 a.m. - 11 a.m.
