A new year is right around the corner. Let’s get in that first hike of the year BEFORE 2024 officially starts! Join park staff for a 2-mile guided hike along our scenic West Ridge Trail. Hear about the unique bluff feature of the park and other cool nature tidbits. West Ridge Trail consists of natural surfaces and features hills and rugged, uneven terrain. Participants should wear comfortable shoes and dress for the weather. We will meet at the overlook parking lot.
This hike is free and open to the public. In the event of rain, snow or ice, the hike will be canceled. For more information, call the park office at 816-640-5443.
