Battle of Lexington State Historic Site will host a “View of the Stars" program to kick off the City of Lexington Community Fair. The Astronomical Society of Kansas City will start things off at 7 p.m. with a discussion and program in the visitor center. Following the program, we will move out to the battlefield (about 8 p.m.), where the Society will have telescopes set out to stargaze and look at the night sky. Bring your telescopes, ask questions, talk with experts and join us for an out of this world experience!
