Did you know that birding is the fastest-growing outdoor sport in the United States? It’s true! Missouri is visited by several hundred species of birds, from majestic raptors to tiny, colorful warblers. Enjoying these feathered friends is an activity that people of any age and skill level can take pleasure in. Join the park naturalist to learn the basics, and get a chance to see some of the birds that call our area home! Binoculars and a bird guide are recommended, but some will also be available to borrow during the program for visitors who would like to try them out!
