Memorial Day Virtual Scavenger Hunt

5/25/2019 | Graham Cave State Park | Danville, MO

Let’s go exploring! Stop by the park’s visitor center for a scavenger hunt map with a list of clues for a virtual scavenger hunt. The list of clues will help you find many kinds of interesting objects along the park’s 4.5 miles of trails. “Tokens” will be left by park staff near the objects for you to take home. You can try and find all the objects along the trails, or just choose a trail or two to explore for the day. For those who find all the objects on the trails, check in at the visitor center at the end of the day and claim your prize. You earned it!

This is a friend-and family-friendly "go at your own pace" event, so invite a friend or bring the whole family.  Remember: take only photos (and tokens) and leave only footprints!  And have fun.

We encourage you to wear sturdy, closed toe shoes and bring a bottle of water. Insect repellent is highly recommended.

Event times: 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.

This event is one of many events Missouri State Parks is hosting in celebration of the National Park Trust's Kids to Parks Day! Click here for a complete list of events in Missouri state parks and historic sites throughout the state.
