Nathan and Olive Boone Homestead State Historic Site is hosting "Third Saturdays at the Homestead" in 2018. Explore Missouri's frontier past through a variety of hands-on activities. Programs will be hosted at several locations throughout the site and are appropriate for all ages. All events are free and open to the public.
August event: Join site staff for a guided tour of the homestead that will focus on the many "unsolved mysteries" of the Boone Homestead. This ¼-mile guided hike will take visitors into the Boone home, through the site’s two cemeteries and end with viewing some of the sites unique natural resources. Tours will leave every hour on the hour from the contact station.
Event times: 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
