Wildflower Hike

4/21/2018 | Graham Cave State Park | Danville, MO

Join naturalist Lorie Volenberg on a .6-mile, rugged to moderate level hike on two of the park’s more popular trails, Fern Ridge Trail and Graham Cave Trail. These two trails offer a variety of wildflowers as the trails will take you by scenic sandstone ledges and formations, and through rich valley forests. Bring your cameras, your notepads and any flower identification books you might desire to have on the hike. Meet at the lower picnic shelter parking lot. Hikers are encouraged to dress in layers, wear sturdy, closed toe shoes, and bring a bottle of water. Insect repellent is also recommended. Click here to read the news release.
