Explorer Day Camp

8/13/2014 to 8/15/2014 | Annie and Abel Van Meter State Park | Miami, MO

The park is hosting a free, three-day Explorer Day Camp. This year, come explore the different ways the American Indian used natural materials to tell stories through art. By attending all three mornings, you will earn the Missouri State Parks and Historic Site Explorer Patch. Requirements to complete the Explorer Program consist of four parts: service, interpretive study, interpretive programs and identification. Adults are encouraged to accompany their children and make day camp a family activity. The number of participants each day is limited to 25, so please register by calling the park office at 660-886-7537.
