The Art of Falconry

8/3/2013 | Thousand Hills State Park | Kirksville, MO

Falconry - the hunting of game with raptors - is a sport and an art form that spans the globe and dates back thousands of years. Meagan Duffee, a Missouri falconer, will be giving a presentation with her own birds for an up-close experience with raptors, and a discussion on local raptors as well as what it means, and what it takes, to be a falconer.  Please bring a lawn chair to the Point Shelter, in case seating runs out, and join us for the program.
