History Hike

4/11/2025 | Thousand Hills State Park | Kirksville, MO

Join us for a leisurely guided hike on a portion of Carolyn Bagley Harding Trail. We will meet by the bulletin board at the parking lot between the restaurant and the cabins and then hike to the petroglyph shelter and back. We will stop at various points along the way to discuss the history of the park.

This program is free and open to the public, and there is no need to register. Carolyn Bagley Harding Trail features a paved surface, and the portion that we will be hiking follows the shoreline of Forest Lake.

In the event of inclement weather, the hike may be canceled. Call the park office at 660-665-6995 for more information.

Hike time: 6:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
