Seniors to Parks Tram Tours

9/17/2024 to 9/18/2024 | Weston Bend State Park | Weston, MO

Join park staff on Tuesday, Sept. 17, or Wednesday, Sept. 18, for a tram tour of Weston Bend State Park.

Let us entertain and inform you as we journey through the park, making stops at the historic tobacco barn and the beautiful scenic overlook. Fall is coming on, and this is the perfect time to get out and enjoy the forest.

Thanks to a partnership with the Missouri Parks Association, these tours are free for people over the age of 65; however, space is limited, and registration is required. Call the park office at 816-640-5443 to reserve your spot today.

Each tour will begin at the Bee Creek Shelter, which is a half-mile west of the park's main entrance. Participants should dress for the weather and arrive 15 minutes early.

Lights snacks and drinks will be provided. In the event of rain, the tour will be canceled.

Tour times:
  • Sept. 17: 1-2 p.m.
  • Sept. 18: 10-11 a.m. and 1-2 p.m.
