Who Messed Up the Mississippi?

1/28/2024 | Mastodon State Historic Site | Imperial, MO

Did you know that nonpoint source pollution, caused by activities such as agriculture, construction, and even washing cars, is the greatest threat to Missouri waters? In this interactive program, we'll explore how our waterways become polluted and what we can do to help. We'll learn what a watershed is and how point and nonpoint pollution can come to threaten it.

This is a free interpretive program. It will include fun, hands-on demonstrations and is appropriate for all ages. No registration is required. This program will take place inside the museum auditorium.
