Owl Prowl

Join us at Lewis and Clark State Park to search for owls during this guided night hike. We will meet inside the park office at 7 p.m. and then walk about 1 mile through the woods. Along the way, we may encounter not only owls but other creepy and mysterious creatures, as well. We will conclude the program around 8 p.m.

This event is free and open to the public, and there is no need to register. The hike will use parts of Gosling Lake Trail and Independence Trail, which consist of gravel and natural surfaces, respectively. Participants should wear appropriate outdoor attire, dress for the weather, and bring a flashlight. In the event of inclement weather, the program will be canceled.

Lewis and Clark State Park is located at 801 Lakecrest Blvd., 4 miles south of Rushville in Buchanan County. For more information, call the park office at 816-579-5564.
