Cuivre River State Park Closed for Managed Deer Hunt Oct. 30-Nov. 1, 2026
Cuivre River State Park will be closed from 3 p.m. on Oct. 30, 2026, until 7:30 a.m. on Nov. 2, 2026, due to a managed deer hunt at the park. Only registered hunters and people working the event will be allowed in the park. Camping will be unavailable from Oct. 30, 2026, through Nov. 1, 2026. This includes backcountry camping and special-use camping.

Kayaking and Canoeing - Cuivre River
Kayaking and canoeing are permitted on Lake Lincoln, but rentals are available only for those staying in the park's organized group camps. Day-use visitors and guests staying in the main campground, the equestrian campground or the special-use area must provide their own watercraft.
A concrete boat launch is available.
