Homeschoolers, come join us at First Missouri State Capitol State Historic Site for a fun-filled day of Missouri history!

From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., the historic First Capitol will be open for self-guided tours, and various hands-on activities will be offered in the backyard. Come observe and practice different historical skills like trading and bartering, rope-making, and butter churning. Discover the origins of Missouri and the lifestyles of 19th century Missourians.

This walk-up-style event is free and open to homeschoolers of all ages. Registration is encouraged and can be completed online. Registrants will receive a homeschooling packet with tour information, scavenger hunts and other activities.
