Annual Public Meeting and CDP Open House

at Echo Bluff State Park

The public is invited to attend a hybrid meeting at Echo Bluff State Park on Thursday, June 11, at 5:30 p.m. This event will consist of a town hall-style meeting about multiple parks, as well as a conceptual development plan open house for Echo Bluff State Park. It will take place in the Nixon Room of the Betty Lea Lodge. 

The town hall meeting will include information about Echo Bluff State Park, Current River State Park and Roger Pryor Pioneer Backcountry. Representatives from Missouri State Parks will be on hand to provide information about these facilities and answer questions. The public is encouraged to share comments about the facilities and their operations. The town hall is part of Missouri State Parks' annual public meetings initiative. These meetings are held are for all state parks and historic sites and help create two-way communication with the public. 

The open house is being held as part of Echo Bluff State Park's conceptual development planning process. As the long-range plan for the park is updated, the public is encouraged to come learn more about the planning process, ask questions, and provide input regarding future park use and development. A 30-day comment period will begin on June 11, with a survey available online.
