Women Outdoors: Birding 101

Staff from Echo Bluff and Current River state parks are hosting Women Outdoors classes again in 2025. These hands-on classes are taught by women for women and are being offered on the second Thursday of each month from April through September. The July class will be held at Current River State Park, while the other classes will be at Echo Bluff State Park. All classes go from 6-8 p.m. and are free. Participation is restricted to women ages 16 and older.
There is a limit of 15 participants per class, and registration is required. To register, contact Connie at 573-751-1224 or connie.weber@dnr.mo.gov.

| Jul 10 | Kayaking | Get out on the water, and learn some basics of paddling. Be sure to wear items that you don't mind getting wet and bring a change of clothes and shoes.
