The park roads will be temporarily closed to vehicular traffic from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. for the Coors Lite/Trail of Tears annual triathlon for the safety of the athletes. Campers departing on Sept. 30 will need to exit the park before 10 a.m. or after 1 p.m.
The playground in the Lake Boutin Day-Use Area is temporarily closed for repairs.
All other areas of the park remain open under normal on-season operations.
Portions of Peewah Trail are blocked by downed trees from recent severe storms.
