Campgrounds 1 and 2 are closed for the night of May 27 due to potential flooding. Depending on overnight rains, campers might be able to arrive on Saturday. This information will be updated before noon on May 28.
Campers already in the park will be assisted by park staff in departing and refunds. Campers with weekend reservations will be contacted by phone regarding this situation.
Due to a major waterline break, the Equestrian Campground and Day-Use Area Shelters 2 and 3 are currently experiencing water issues. These areas remain open but water is not available. Water is available to all guests in other areas of the park. Guests who would like to continue use of these locations should bring water with them or containers that can be filled at other locations in the park.
Users of Mudlick Trail or Shut-Ins Trail should be alert to portions of the trails at creek crossings and low-lying areas that may be impassable due to flooding or debris. Users may come across obstacles such as erosion and fallen trees from recent storms. Repairs will be made as soon as is practical.
